The First Annual Great Mukilteo Dog Show occurred on Saturday, July 15th, at 11 am in Lighthouse Park. The new event put on by the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mukilteo had a great turnout and great weather. Dog lovers throughout Snohomish County came to watch and cheer on their favorite breed. The show’s entries were not limited to just Mukilteo, and dogs came from as far as south King County to compete in what hopes to be the first of many dog shows in Mukilteo.
Some of the show’s highlights included a Havanese dressed as Carmen Miranda and a standard poodle with extremely fluffy ears who won best in show. Judges included Cheri Nicolopoulos of Nic’s Barber Shop and Stephannie from Stephannie’s Doggie Doos & Shampoos.
