Paine Field Community Day Returns June 6 with Free Family Fun and Aviation Experiences
Mark your calendars for one of the region’s most unique and family-friendly events of the summer. Paine Field Community Day is returning on Saturday, June 6, 2026, bringing a full day of aviation excitement to Snohomish County.
Now in its third year, this growing tradition at Paine Field Airport is a collaborative effort between airport staff, the Washington Pilots Association, and the EAA Young Eagles. Together, they’ve created an event designed to inspire curiosity, learning, and a love of flight in the next generation.
A Day Designed for Families and Future Aviators
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can explore a wide range of interactive and educational experiences—all completely free. The event is especially geared toward youth, but there’s plenty for aviation enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet local pilots and hear firsthand what it’s like to take to the skies. Aircraft displays will showcase everything from historic planes to unique and modern aircraft, offering a rare chance to see them up close.
For those curious about aviation careers or education pathways, representatives from youth programs, colleges, and flight schools will be on hand to answer questions and share resources.
Special Exhibits and Local Highlights
One of the standout features of this year’s event includes special displays from the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, known for its impressive collection of historic military aircraft and vehicles. Additional exhibits and equipment displays will round out the experience, making this a must-see event for history buffs and aviation fans alike.
Plan Ahead for Parking
Due to the popularity of the event, there is no on-site parking at Paine Field. Free parking will be available nearby, with continuous shuttle service running throughout the day:
