The Early Jet Engine History: A Personal Journey

Please join the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum at their museum on Thursday, Feburary 20th from 7 pm – 10 pm for an evening with retired University of Washington Aeronautics and Astronautics professor Dr. Reiner Decher. Dr. Decher will recount the history of the German egineers who built jet engines during the second world war, including those working on the Junkers 004 egine for the Me 262, and will explore the challenges and opportunities these engineers and their families encountered throughout the war and postwar period.
