February 6 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum for their Free Museum Thursdays! The first Thursday of every month from October 2019 through April 2020 will be free from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm for all museum attendees. As you stroll through the museum, you will walk among unique and rare warbirds that have been restored to flying condition. Learn more about these incredible pieces of history by taking a free tour with a docent who can tell you the story behind the Tallahassee Lassie the top speed of any aircraft and more!

The Museum’s newest building, added in November 2018, features the last known Stuka, a blown apart building with a tank rolling through the center, and the Animals in Wartime exhibit. In the Animals in Wartime exhibit, learn heroic tales about the millions of horses, dogs, cats and even pigeons who aided in the war effort.
