An Evening with Art Unruh

June 13 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Have you ever wondered what it was like to serve on a B-17 Flying Fortress in the skies over Europe during World War II?  Join us on Thursday, June 13 from 6:00 to 9:00pm for an evening with Art Unruh, decorated World War II veteran and FHCAM docent.  Art will reflect on his remarkable experience as a B-17 waist gunner in the Army Air Corps during the Second World War.  Audience members will have the chance to learn about the valor displayed by Art and his fellow crew members during dozens of missions over Nazi occupied Europe.  Be sure to purchase a copy of Art’s book in the museum gift store – he will be signing copies after the lecture!
