Special Events at Rosehill Community Center
Whether you are looking to hold your wedding, reception, or special event at the Rosehill Community Center, your guests will enjoy the most beautiful views and nicest facilities this area has to offer. Whatever size and type of event you are planning, the staff can help you decide on the best time and location that will work best for your occasion.
This beautiful, state-of-the-art building can accommodate groups from 10 – 450 and features the following:
- Views of the Mukilteo Lighthouse and Puget Sound
- Catering-ready kitchen (Choose your own caterer or bring in food and beverages)
- All rental rooms have large windows, wi-fi, access to LCD projectors and microphones, adjustable lighting, and window coverings
- Within walking distance of the Whidbey Island Ferry, local transit, and near public transportation, including the Sounder train
Point Elliott Room
The Point Elliott Room is a large multi-purpose room with floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning water and island views. Perfect for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, fundraising events, performances, recitals, business meetings, and training sessions. The room boasts 3,500 square feet of floor space with an additional 1,500 square foot stage equipped with sound and lighting systems. The Point Elliott Room includes tables, chairs, adjustable window coverings, and a ceiling-mounted LCD projector and screen. It can be divided into two rooms for smaller events. The room can accommodate 350 people theater-style or 216 at tables.
The Rosehill Community Center has several classroom-style rooms perfect for club events, meetings, training sessions, or educational seminars. Multiple adjacent rooms can be used separately or in conjunction with one another. All are light and airy, with large windows and doors to the upper lawn and the interior corridor. There are shades for audio-visual presentations. Classrooms can be reserved two times a year, beginning the 3rd Wednesday in February for the April through August rentals. The 3rd Wednesday in July for the September through March rentals. Rental reservations begin when the community center opens (M-F 6:30 am, Sat. 8 am, and Sun. 9 am).
Upper Lawn and Plaza Areas
The upper lawn and plaza areas at Rosehill Community Center offer sweeping views of Possession Sound, Whidbey Island, and Historic Light Station. The upper lawn and plaza areas are available to rent for wedding ceremonies, team-building events, and special events. Combine the upper lawn with the classrooms for an indoor/outdoor event.
