The unprecedented outbreak of the Covid 19 virus is affecting all of us. We know that everyone is concerned about the virus and its spread. We also understand that different people are experiencing things in different ways. Some of us worry about our kids getting bored, or which parks we can go for a walk in. Others are experiencing mild symptoms and are self-quarantined at home and scared. Some members of our community are seriously fighting for their lives. Many of us have relatives, friends or neighbors that are in higher risk categories or have known exposure. We, at Discover Mukilteo, share your concerns and are confident that together we will make it through. We offer our sympathy and our non-contact embrace to everyone out there no matter where they are or what their situation.
These are trying times and it is important for all of us to work together and be courteous and sympathetic to others. The information we are providing you is meant to be helpful and informative and to keep our community safe.
We want you to know that there are others out there that care. If you or someone you know is self-quarantined and cannot get access to food, water, medicine or basic supplies please contact us. We will try to coordinate resources within our community to help those who are unable to help themselves.
