Food, Fun and Fireworks
The 54th Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival (Sea and Sound) is September 6, 7 & 8 in Lighthouse Park on the shore of Puget Sound in Mukilteo, Washington.
This 3-day event commemorating the historic lighthouse at the edge of the park is fun for the whole family.
While many festival favorites are returning this year such as the Avenue of Food, Children’s area, Beer Garden and Saturday Night Fireworks, attendees will discover some new events as well as new twists on old favorites.
This year the Children’s area will feature a Pirates and Mermaids Tea Party, where children can enjoy food, crafts and pony rides. (Reservations Required)
New this year is MukFest Mashup, a mini-music festival featuring Seattle area rock bands. Saturday 2:30 pm – 10:30pm at Rosehill Community Center. Tickets are $15 at the door.
Adults will appreciate live music in the Beer and Wine Garden Friday and Saturday Night as well as Sunday Morning.
The Mukilteo Marketplace, featuring local artisans, has many beautiful items available for purchase.
Foodies and food truck enthusiasts will love the vast array of food offerings at the Avenue of Food including the ever popular Salmon Bake.
One thing to remember, there is no parking down at the Lighthouse. You must park at Olympic View Middle School or Kamiak High School. There is also public transportation available this year. Parking and Public Transportation Information.
