Summer is a great time to visit Mukilteo, especially if you enjoy outdoor fun. There are trails and parks to explore including our beautiful waterfront. Lighthouse Park includes a beach with firepits, picnic shelters, a playground for the kids and a boat launch ramp. Take a tour of the historic Mukilteo Lighthouse and visit their gift shop. View wildlife like sea birds, seals and sea lions, and an occasional passing whale from the park which is adjacent to the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry. Visit the cozy photography spot for a picturesque wedding, graduation or other photo occasion with Puget Sound in the background.
Quilters and Gardeners will enjoy the Mukilteo Quilt and Garden Tourwhere spectacular landscaped gardens are adorned with traditional and contemporary art quilts. The show is July 20 & 21, 2019 11am – 4pm both days. Tickets can be purchased online as well as at a handful of local Mukilteo businesses.
If golfing is more your speed, Harbour Pointe Golf Club provides guests with a challenging and varied golf experience by offering two distinctly unique nines some holes with spectacular sound and mountain views.
After all that fun, you may have worked up an appetite. Mukilteo has a large variety of fine and casual dining. Some restaurants offer outdoor seating as well as waterfront views.
There is so much to see and do you may want to stay longer. In addition, to our local bed and breakfast with an amazing view, Mukilteo has several area hotels, some with pools. For a room with a view, an in room jacuzzi tub and a fireplace check out the recently remodeled Silver Cloud on the Mukilteo waterfront. Some hotels are pet friendly and there is a dog park at 5thstreet and Japanese gulch.
